I am well-trained and experienced in the treatment of children and teens.

As a father of two active girls, I know all about the growing pains, the falls, and the bruises that accompany the kind of play that kids enjoy, as well as more serious and ongoing conditions from patellofemoral syndrome to scoliosis and hip dysplasia.  All of these kinds of conditions can be treated without drugs or surgery, with gentle adjusting, myofascial release, and home exercises that are easy to fit into your child's day.

Chiropractic care is safe and effective for children.

Children and teens respond beautifully to chiropractic care.  Lengthy treatment plans are only required in cases of scoliosis or other chronic spinal abnormality.

Study after study has proven chiropractic to be safe for the developing skeleton and muscular system of a growing child or teen.  Dr. Russ can create a treatment plan appropriate for your child's condition and development.  Your children will receive the individual attention that Dr. Russ's patients have come to expect, and which you should demand from all of your health care providers.

Kids love getting adjusted!

My interactive and personable style puts kids at ease and makes treatment fun.

I works with children of all developmental stages and needs.

If you child has special needs, we would like to know about it in advance, but be assured that your child will be accommodated and his or her needs met.

Parents are included in the creation of treatment plans.

Whatever treatment plan is created for the child, it has to work for you too.  Every diagnosis and every aspect of the treatment plan will be explained to you.  I provide detailed explanations in writing whenever a treatment plan is created or changed.  You will always be informed about your child's condition and progress.

Some of the many childhood conditions which we commonly treat:

  • Scoliosis
  • Foot, arch, and calf pain
  • Knee pain
  • Headaches
  • Jaw problems
  • Food allergies
  • Digestive problems
  • Asthma
  • Chronic cough
  • Hip dysplasia
  • All kinds of sports injuries
  • Motor vehicle and bicycle accidents

If your child has been diagnosed with a chronic condition, has been injured, or is complaining of ongoing pains, please call or send me an email.  I will be happy to discuss your child's condition with you.  If I am not sure I can help you, I will find the right resources for you and your child.

I wish you and your children the best of health!
