My approach is different.

A well-placed structural adjustment, which immediately realigns a misaligned bone or joint, can profoundly decrease pain and increase mobility.  This is the method that the chiropractic profession has been developing and refining for over 100 years.

However, bones and joints do not exist in empty space.  They are moved, supported, and held in position by muscles and connective tissues.  The root cause of misalignment is usually to be found in these supporting tisses.  These causes are not addressed by the chiropractic adjustment alone.

I have been researching, practicing, and developing techniques to address connective tissue problems since 1993.

In over a decade of chiropractic practice, I have found that extensive manipulation of muscles and ligaments is usually required along with structural adjusting in order to get the deep correction that provides lasting relief from pain and restores mobility.

Many patients come to me after other practitioners have attempted to treat their condition with structural adjusting alone.  They find that my broad, holistic approach delivers the results they want.

To do this work takes time.  This is why my treatments are longer than most chiropractic visits.  A typical treatment in our office takes 20 to 30 minutes, which involves realignment, reconditioning, and restoration of muscle, ligament, and connective tissue in addition to structural adjustments.

If you are thinking of becoming a patient but aren't sure if our approach would be a good fit for you, send us an email or give us a call.  We will gladly talk to you about your condition, how it might be approached, and what you might expect from our treatment.
